Safer school transportation, with visibility from bus to home.
Manage school routes, track buses and students in real time, know who boarded and was dropped off, and keep parents and schools informed throughout every trip.
Knowing a bus is moving is not the same as knowing your students are safe.
Before: every answer is a phone call
- Driver → Transportation manager “Which route am I on?” Paper route sheet
- Parent → Dispatcher “Where's the bus?” Calls the school
- Transportation manager → Dispatcher “How did last month go?” Spreadsheet
After: one connected run
Every run becomes the district’s record
What changes for the district, the families and the kids.
Live View
Answer “where’s the bus?” before anyone has to ask
- Delays caught while the run is still recoverable
- Missed stops flagged before a parent calls
- One live picture for the whole district
Traveller management
The right student on the right bus, every term
- Route changes reach the roster the same day
- No spreadsheet to reconcile at term start
- Ridership counted per student, not estimated
Guardian app
Parents know when to walk out the door
- Live ETAs instead of waiting at the stop
- A notice the moment plans change
- Fewer anxious calls to the office
Student identification
Know who boarded, who didn’t, and where
- A missed student flagged at the stop, not at school
- Drop-off confirmed at the right address
- A clear record if a question comes up later
Five screens a transportation team opens through the day.
Nothing gets ripped out, and that is the point.
Bluetooth asset tags
Wheelchair lifts and equipment accounted for between runs.
More on student transportation, before you talk to us.
Questions school transportation teams ask.
Can parents and guardians track the school bus?
Yes. Guardians can use the Guardian App to see their assigned traveller’s bus, live ETA, route progress, and important transportation updates.
Can a guardian see other students or routes?
No. Guardians can only see the information associated with their assigned traveller(s).
Can schools manage students and their transportation assignments?
Yes. Schools can manage traveller profiles and assign students to specific routes and stops. Guardians can also be associated with their assigned traveller(s).
Can the system identify when a student boards or leaves the bus?
Yes. Student identification can record boarding and drop-off activity, helping schools confirm student transportation and identify missed students.
What metrics does ZenBus provide?
ZenBus provides operational and student transportation metrics such as on-time performance, delays, route adherence, capacity, student usage, and student on-time performance.
Can I upload my existing school bus routes in bulk?
Yes. Existing routes can be uploaded in batch using a KMZ or KML file, including route paths and stops.
Does ZenBus consider real-time traffic for ETAs?
Yes. ETAs consider real-time traffic conditions and are updated as road conditions and the vehicle’s actual progress change.
How do drivers receive their routes?
Drivers receive their assigned routes directly in the Driver App, where they can see their trips, stops, route details, navigation, and trip progress.
Can schools see a student’s transportation history?
Yes. The system can provide visibility into student transportation activity, including route assignments, boarding and drop-off activity, and usage over time.
Will this work with the hardware we already have?
Usually, yes. ZenduConnect reads more than 20 telematics and camera providers, so the footage and position you already pay for become the evidence behind a case. We confirm your exact models before you commit to anything.
How long does deployment take?
Most operators start on one route, one site or one crew. If the vehicles already carry cameras and trackers, the first week is configuration and the second is the pilot itself, so you are reading real cases inside a fortnight.
What happens when the system gets it wrong?
It will call some things wrong, so nothing bills or escalates itself. Every case waits in a review queue for a person to approve, and rejecting one asks you for a reason. Those reasons are read by us and used to tune the rules, and you keep the record of what was rejected and why.
How does the evidence reach our other systems?
Approved cases leave as lines through the open API, or as a file your team already knows how to import. The photo and the timestamp stay attached, so the line can be defended without anyone going back into the software.
What does this cost for a fleet our size?
Pricing follows the number of vehicles and the parts you turn on, and the pilot is scoped before you sign anything. We would rather put a number against your own list of vehicles than a range against your industry.
