ZenduCAM Update: October 2020

ZenduCAM has a new UI update which implements new features, an updated user interface as well as routine bug fixes to make it more user friendly and accessible to customers. 

Mississauga, ON — October 23, 2020 – ZenduIT, a leader in value added telematics solutions and integrations has announced a new update for the ZenduCAM solution. The changes included in this update will come together to deliver an exceptional and easy-to-use application. 

Coming Soon: Proximity Feature

The new Proximity feature on the updated version of ZenduCAM will enable users to directly search trip history in a given radius and date range. Users will be able to drill down on a trip that they are interested in and navigate through that driver’s specific trip history.

Leveraging The Proximity Feature

Fleet managers can find out which vehicles were in the region where an accident involving one of their drivers took place. The Proximity feature will allow this to be easily doable.

Map User Interface Refresh

The new UI update comes along with a modernized map interface which includes a display of road rules and clustering zones that leverages GPS services based on location. 

Driving/Idle Indicator for Vehicle

This new update will allow fleet managers to see if a vehicle is in motion or is idling. Each vehicle appearing on the ZenduCAM list and on the map will include a triangle icon which indicates if a vehicle is in motion or idle.

Similarly, our ZenFalcon temperature device will now have battery and temperature displayed on ZenduCAM.

Scoring System Changes

This scoring system now works on a 1-5 scale based on user requests.

Coming Soon: Pop-Out for Vehicle Options

Our team will introduce and implement new shortcut pop-outs on the List interface. This will enable users to directly select key functionalities— thus, making it much more accessible for its users.

Bug Fixes

The new update gives special attention to fixing bugs and includes the following fixes: 

• Camera live feed not appearing on iOS mobiles,
• Mobile application interaction responsiveness,
• Spelling issues on the Admin page, and 
• Reduced delay between real locations of vehicles v/s display on ZenduCAM.
