GEOTAB CONNECT Wrap-up: The ZenduIT Big 3

June 20, 2018

From June 11 to 13, ZenduIT attended GEOTAB CONNECT. We featured our “Big 3” line-up, including ZenduWork, ZenduMA, and ZenduCAM. Also, along the way, we were pleased to meet Geotab’s network of partners and customers.

We wanted to share some highlights.

ZenduWork

Firstly, this is Nusair, our superstar co-op student. One of his passions is working with software. In this image, he is teaching visitors how to create work orders on ZenduWork.

What is ZenduWork?

ZenduWork is an all-in-one dispatching solution. In other words, ZenduWork handles several functions including creating work forms, monitoring a dispatch board, planning routes, and centralizing driver/dispatch communication.

ZenduWork is especially useful for service businesses. While services like landscapers, constructors and deliverers need GPS tracking, they are really looking to expand GPS tracking to provide operational support. ZenduWork provides that support by creating and managing service tasks from beginning to end.

CONNECT was a great opportunity to share our technology. ZenduWork is available as its own app and will soon be launched on the Geotab Marketplace.

ZenduMA

Secondly, we feature our product manager Jyotima. Jyotima is showing ZenduMA and how it transforms Geotab codes into automatic maintenance tasks.

What is ZenduMA?

ZenduMA or Zendu Maintenance is a CMMS, or a maintenance software. ZenduMA handles everything maintenance-related, including creating work tasks, monitoring work orders, and ordering parts. It also has the power to save jobs. Here’s why.

Diagnostics and maintenance management has the power to make and break jobs. Fleet managers are measured on their fleet’s productivity. Downtime increases business cost, and if left unchecked, can cost a fleet manager their job. As a result, fleet managers use diagnostic management tools such as Geotab and ZenduMA to control their vehicle cycle.

ZenduCAM

Lastly, that’s Vishal, President of ZenduIT, and Nick, co-founder of SmartWitness. They are discussing ZenduCAM and its exciting ongoing development. In this photo, it looks like Vishal and Nick are discussing ZenduCAM’s mobile livestream recording app.

What is ZenduCAM?

ZenduCAM is one of the most popular Marketplace items. It records and saves footage and also connects with Geotab data to capture event-specific data.

Fleet cameras are reaching their maturity point. Though most fleets have GPS tracking, a lot of fleets do not have cameras. For example, last year, ZenduCAM worked with a few enterprise fleets to set up their first dashcams.

What is the ELD Mandate?

What is the ELD Mandate?

Because enforcement of this regulation for provincially-regulated carriers varies by province (as each province determines whether and when to enforce it), and due to the lengthy (and sometimes contradictory) rollout across North America, there has been some confusion as to what the ELD Mandate is, who it pertains to, and how to remain compliant.

A Beginners Guide to Fleet Automation

Automation can look like a lot of things, depending on the size of your fleet – from optimizing routes and dispatching vehicles to monitoring individual drivers, managing vehicle maintenance and tracking vehicles. Fleet automation is the use of technology to optimize, automate and improve the operations of a fleet. It involves digital tools such as sensors and hardware in tandem with software to increase the efficiency of fleet operations.
